A 5-star luxury hotel in the heart of Budapest is looking for an ambitious, determined and highly motivated individual who is seeking to embark on a career in hospitality and join its Commercial team. Under the guidance of the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Sales, together with his/her team is responsible to achieve the hotel revenue targets whilst developing and maintaining positive connections with all business stakeholders.

· Develops and maintains key accounts through personal sales calls, correspondence with existing / potential client base, and attendance at travel and related industry meeting / trade shows / sales blitz.
· Handles all inquiries from potential clients that may involve meeting, site inspection, negotiation and contract writing.
· Provides information to all people concerned regarding the servicing and handling of incoming groups through meetings, correspondence or via telephone.
· Plans sales activities for himself/herself as well as for all the sales team members by identifying potential clients, organizing sales calls and sales blitz to develop new business.
· Promotes and cross sells the sister properties in order to increase the awareness of the brand in the region during each sales calls
· Negotiates new contracts and renewals in order to meet sales targets ensuring contracts are signed in a timely manner and reflect the strategies and clauses decided by the hotel.
· Obtains good knowledge about the local and global DMC/PCO partners (existing and new accounts) and develops close cooperation with them to drive Group business into hotel.
· Proactive approach towards existing clients and prospect accounts
· Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels (e.g., RSO’s) to ensure sales efforts are coordinated.
· Organizes site visits, sales calls, sales blitzes and other customer events / activities, conducts educational trips for existing and potential clients.
· Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
· Focus and commitment towards annual & monthly budget for Groups & Events segment, Corporate segments, Leisure transient and group, series.
· Achieve monthly budget goals and new-business targets
· Leads and organizes an effective sales team including development and supervision of the sales staff in order to maximize the hotel revenues together with the DOSM/ Commercial Director.
· Conducts educational trips for existing and potential clients
· Organizes VIP’s arrivals, welcomes and provides them with assistance during their stay upon needs according to the Hotel Budapest standards and in order to meet guest satisfaction.
· Monitors and reviews sales performance through weekly sales calls report to ensure hotel’s objectives are met with regards to room revenues.
· Establish sales strategy mid & short term, run regular analysis on team productivity & competition, analyse trends, implement action plans
· Keep close relationship with competitor Hotels and key actors, analyse competition check results and conduct site visit with them
Elvárások
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position in a 5-star hotel or currently a Sales and Marketing Manager in a 4-star conference hotel
· Fluent written and spoken English
· Strong knowledge of the Groups and Events, Leisure and Corporate segments with local and global connections already in hand
· Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
· Strong negotiation and selling skills
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
